Comments:
After Buena Park, graduated from Fullerton College, then San Jose State. Joined the Army as a broadcaster for three years. Was hired as a civilian and retired after 43 years as a sports broadcaster with the American Forces Network. Quite active until last year in sports officiating. Was a member of the national rules committee for high school baseball and am currently the California State rules interpreter for high school baseball. Umpired Division I college baseball for 30 years and appeared in four Division II World Series.
